School Cinema -Gamified Learning App

School Cinema -Gamified Learning App

Designed the pre-school version of School Cinema App

Understanding the brief

This project was my first internship project targeted on lower school children for learning morals through short movies. I conceptualised the theme of the chapter games of treasure hunt where each level signifies a stone with key and completely all four levels will get you all the keys to open the treasure chest. Everything on this project had to be eye-catching so I made banners/stars for the level completion and pop-ups for necessary stages. The end-to-end design was asset handoff was facilitated by me along with responsive screens for tablet and web app.

Process

The app was designed to be responsive and student-friendly, aligning with accessibility standards and optimized for mobile devices. A strong focus was placed on visual storytelling and game mechanics to maintain interest throughout the learning journey.

Research (Who are the users? What is the product? What are the goals?)
Designed for school students learning in lower classes

Collaborate and Build Relationships
Worked closely with founder, project managers, and developers.

Design (UX gamification, student accessibility, and responsive UI)
Designed the lower school version of the app under guidance of lead designer.

Iterate & Test
Tested user flows internally with a student-first lens.

Release
Deployed for students across India , gaining 1K+ Downloads on Google Play Store and being the most loved design from all three versions of School Cinema.

The experience was both enriching and creatively challenging, particularly due to the need to align with Pedigree’s brand guidelines and ensure accessibility across platforms. As part of a campaign-focused hypercasual game, the product required a balance between playful engagement and functional clarity. The design was responsive and tailored for users interacting via both desktop and mobile, with accessibility baked into visual and interaction decisions. The goal was to create an intuitive and delightful user journey while reinforcing the brand's message in an interactive format.
